What We Treat

Depression Management. Depressive disorders are characterized as a collection of symptoms inducing feelings of helplessness, hopelessness and worthlessness as well as physical symptoms such as fatigue, difficulty concentrating and poor sleep. Depressive disorders may include Major Depressive Disorder, Dysthymic Disorder, and periods of prolonged or complicated grief. Typical treatment may include medication management and/or psychotherapy.

Anxiety Management. Anxiety is a naturally occurring phenomenon that all humans experience. In most cases anxiety is mild and beneficial for survival and motivation. However, sometimes the levels of anxiety a person feels are no longer productive and actually prevent necessary daily activities. When anxiety reaches this unproductive level an Anxiety Disorder is generally diagnosed. Anxiety disorders may include Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and Panic Disorder.

Children and Adolescents. Children and Adolescents can benefit from mental health services. There are evidence-based practices that allow children and adolescents to safely be prescribed medication for depression, ADHD, and other mood disorders. We understand that as a parent or guardian you will need to feel reassured and we're more than willing to assist.

Holistic Care. You are unique. We focus on providing mental health treatment to help you function as a whole person. Your psychological well-being is influenced by a variety of factors that make you that may affect your ability to function and achieve overall wellness. Our bodies and minds work together and you will be provided with a competent clinician who understands how this process works in sync.

Bipolar/Bipolar Depression. Sometimes our brains need to get back in balance so we can sleep, function, maintain our relationships, perform well in our jobs and in school. We can help you achieve balance and stability. Mood stabilization is essential for overall well-being. You do not have to do this alone.
