Dominique Sanders is nationally certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  She is dedicated and passionate about serving the needs of individuals from all walks of life.  During her career, she has worked with families, children, adolescents,  senior adults, and transitioning youth with robust experience in academia, mental health, and public health. 

In addition to her clinical expertise,  Dominique has professional teaching experience as an adjunct professor for undergraduate nursing students.  She also holds a degree in Biology and has participated in research projects. With a passion for making contributions to spreading knowledge into the community, she is also in pursuit of a Ph.D.

Dominique has personally witnessed the unfortunate reality of what happens to a person who is stigmatized and marginalized when suffering from mental health issues that go untreated. Dominique's mission is to increase access to mental health services and remove barriers that prevent proper care. She is determined that nobody gets left behind.
